Simultaneous electrical resistivity and AC magnetic susceptibility measurements discern low- and high-field SC (LFSC and HFSC, respectively) phases with contrasting field-angular dependence. Crystal quality increases the upper critical field of the LFSC phase, but the of T, at which the HFSC phase appears, is always the same through the various crystals. A phase boundary signature is also observed inside the LFSC phase near , indicating an intermediate SC phase characterized by small flux pinning forces.

We observe that the characteristic non-Ohmic superfluid transport enabled by high-order multiple Andreev reflections transitions into an excess Ohmic current as the dissipation strength exceeds the superfluid gap. We develop a model with mean-field reservoirs connected via tunneling to a dissipative site. Our calculations in the Keldysh formalism reproduce the observed non-equilibrium particle current, yet do not fully explain the observed loss rate or spin current.

Our results provide the first quantitative contributions of multiple reaction mechanisms including the quasifree knockout, inelastic scattering, and nucleon transfer processes. It is shown that the inelastic scattering and nucleon transfer, usually neglected at such energy regime, contribute about 50% and 30% to the loosely bound proton and deeply bound neutron removal, respectively.

This quantum phenomenon, called the Casimir effect, has been attracting much attention beyond the hierarchy of energy scales, whereas its application to spintronics has not yet been investigated enough, particularly to ferrimagnetic thin films. Here we fill this gap. Using the lattice field theory, we investigate the Casimir effect induced by quantum fields for magnons and find that the magnonic Casimir effect can arise not only in antiferromagnets but also in ferrimagnets (e.g., YIG). Thus, we pave the way for magnonic Casimir engineering.

The momentum distributions corresponding to the removal of and neutrons were measured. The cross sections are consistent with a shell closure at the neutron number , found as strong as at and in Ca isotopes from the same observables. The analysis of the momentum distributions leads to a difference of the root-mean-square radii of the neutron and orbitals of 0.61(23) fm, in agreement with the modified-shell-model prediction of 0.7 fm suggesting that the large root-mean-square radius of the orbital in neutron-rich Ca isotopes is responsible for the unexpected linear increase of the charge radius with the neutron number.

We propose a new concept of spin-orbit emergent inductance, which can be formulated as originating from a dynamical Aharonov-Casher phase of an electron in ferromagnets. The spin-orbit emergent inductance universally arises in the coexistence of magnetism and the spin-orbit couplings, even with spatially uniform magnetization, allowing its stable operation in wide ranges of temperature and frequency. Revisiting the widely studied systems involving ferromagnets with spatial inversion asymmetry, with the new perspective offered by our work, will lead to opening a new paradigm in the study of spin-orbit physics and the spintronics-based power management in ultrawideband frequency range.

The quark model, the quark-pair-creation mechanism and interaction are incorporated into the Hamiltonian effective field theory. The bare states are almost purely given by the states with heavy-quark spin bases. The physical and are the mixtures of bare core and component, while the and are almost dominated by bare . Furthermore, our model well reproduce the clear level crossing of the with the scattering state at a finite volume.
